Route Trainee

Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr

• Serve customers in a professional manner using effective communication skills and resolve customer issues
• Ensure accurate invoice inventories
• Perform inventory audits
• Merchandise store displays to ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation
• Comply with customers’ scheduled receiving hours and policies
• Build in-store displays
• Keep all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including company-owned trucks and warehouse
• Complete all required reports and paperwork
• Maintain route vehicle reports, safety inspections and general appearance

• High school diploma or GED, some college is a plus
• 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Must meet pre-employment drug screening requirements
• Clean driving record
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Communication and language skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Prior customer service, route sales, delivery and/or entrepreneurial experience preferred

Training Pay (6+ weeks): $20.00 per hour + overtime at the rate of 1½ times the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek.

Pay After Training: After Training is completed, hourly rate will be $21.00 + overtime at the rate of 1½ times the employee’s regular rate of pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek.

This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Applicants for safety-sensitive positions are required to undergo drug testing prior to employment and, subsequently, will be subject to random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing protocols.
