Position: Courier (Non-DOT) - Rural/Residential (C)-3

Job Overview

Driver / operator of company vehicles, providing courteous and efficient delivery of packages and related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education
  • High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience
  • None.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this position.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Job Conditions
  • Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
  • Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
  • Drivers' vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pay: $24.21 – $35.96 per hour.
  • Starting pay: $24.21 per hour.
  • Schedule:

    Flexible based on business needs, up to 24 hours per week.
  • No benefits or premium pay.
