TA2 Classroom Support Professional (Teaching Assistant)
Part time, temporary to July 2026 (to fill a maternity cover secondment)
31.25 hours per week – term time only plus Inset Days
8.30am to 3.15pm – Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)
Scale TA2 pt 5 – 6 (£18,560 - £18,855 per annum – pay award pending)
Required to start November 2026

The current vacancy is at Bengeworth CE Academy, which is a 3-form entry forward-thinking school with happy children, a strong teaching and support team and excellent facilities.
We are seeking to appoint a caring and kind support professional to join our team, supporting our enthusiastic, confident children to achieve their potential through our creative and exciting curriculum. The right candidate s should have:
- a good level of literacy and numeracy skills (including GCSE English and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above)
- a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities to supporting children’s learning
- an ability to work both independently and effectively within a team
- a drive to enable all children to learn and flourish
- a commitment to support the school’s ethos, Christian values and high expectations for all.
