Driver – Bank Richmond Villages, Wood Norton

Pay: £12.90 per hour

• Organise and facilitate a daily transport schedule meeting the needs of residents within the village, providing scheduled and on-demand trips such as shopping, places of interest, and medical appointments.
• Collect and deliver items of equipment to and from the village using company vehicles.
• Carry out scheduled checks on company vehicles, ensuring all documentation is in order and that vehicles are cleaned and have an adequate supply of fuel.
• Report any vehicle defects, investigate findings, and document the results as required.
• Complete journey logs after each use and monitor Tax and MOT expiry dates, notifying the Administrator near due dates.
• Ensure vehicles are locked and that alarms are activated when parked.

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Experience in a customer‑focused environment.
• Polite, courteous with a can‑do approach to work.
• Flexible and adaptable, capable of building trusting relationships with people.
• First‑aid trained.
• Experience driving groups of people, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail‑lifts is advantageous.
• Ability to complete a DBS check as part of the recruitment process.
