Treatment Room Nurse

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Treatment Room Nurse to join our friendly and supportive practice team on a part/full‑time basis (30‑37.5 hours per week) to cover maternity leave for up to 1year. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient‑centred care.

As a valued member of our busy GP practice, you will provide high‑quality nursing care, deliver a wide range of treatment room services, and play a key role in promoting health and wellbeing within our local community.

Abbey Medical Practice is a thriving practice based in the heart of the market gardening town of Evesham. We have a diverse patient population with a list size of approximately 9,600 patients. We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic team player to join our nursing staff and HCAs for maternity cover of up to 1year.

• Wound care and dressing management
• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Cervical screening
• Venepuncture and specimen collection
• Blood pressure monitoring and ECGs
• Health promotion and lifestyle advice
• Chronic disease monitoring support
• Infection prevention and control activities
• Maintaining accurate patient records using clinical systems (Emis)
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team

Registered nurse with experience in primary care or community nursing. Motivated, compassionate, and enthusiastic with a commitment to delivering patient‑centred care. Availability for part/full‑time (30‑37.5 hours per week) on maternity cover of up to 1year.
