Software Developer (.NET)
Location:
Evesham, Worcestershire (WR11)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week | Hybrid (up to 2 days WFH after probation)
The Opportunity
We're working with a growing UK-based digital retailer to recruit a talented Software Developer to join their in-house technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-traffic, customer-facing systems while contributing to the ongoing development and optimisation of core platforms.

The Role
As a Software Developer, you'll play a key role across the full software development lifecycle, working with modern Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing software solutions in line with best practices
Developing and maintaining applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs and SQL Server
Participating in analysis, development, testing and deployment activities
Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Taking part in code reviews and contributing to high coding standards
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and suggesting improvements
About You
We're looking for a developer who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a team.
You'll ideally have:
2 plus years' commercial experience in software development
Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs
Solid SQL Server (MSSQL) experience, including writing efficient queries
A keen eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Confidence working with third-party documentation and system integrations
