The Role As a Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of goods throughout the UK. The role will involve:
Tramping and overnight stays in the cab Long-distance UK deliveries Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy Loading and securing loads where required Completing delivery paperwork and digital records accurately Maintaining excellent customer service Working safely and in accordance with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations Requirements You will need: A valid Class 1 / CE licence Valid Driver CPC Digital tachograph card Previous Class 1 driving experience Previous tramping experience preferred A good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD regulations A professional attitude and good communication skills A reliable and responsible approach to work Newly qualified Class 1 drivers with suitable experience may also be considered.
