HGV Class 1 Driver; Nights

This permanent HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) role in Evesham offers £45,000 annually, with overtime paid at £18.00 hourly. Working night shifts, the successful candidate will handle between six and twelve multi-drop deliveries each day. Unloading relies on a tail lift and electric pump truck, or occasionally a forklift, so physical handling of goods is rarely needed. Duties cover vehicle checks, delivery paperwork, and communication with customers and the transport office.

Applicants must hold a full UK Class 1 licence and possess at least twelve months of relevant driving experience. Compliance with tachograph rules and drivers' hours is essential.

HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) – Evesham £45,000 per annum | £18.00 overtime | Minimal handball | Permanent Pertemps is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E Drivers for a company based in Evesham.

You’ll complete 6–12 drops per day, with unloading using a tail lift and electric pump truck or by forklift. Handball is rarely required , usually only in an emergency.

• Carry out Class 1 multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Operate the tail lift and electric pump truck safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with customers and the transport team.
• Follow drivers’ hours and tachograph requirements.

• Full UK Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points, with no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements.
• Reliable, professional and comfortable completing multi-drop routes.
• Able to commute to Evesham.

Pay: £45,0000 per annum £18.00 per hour overtime (after 50h)
