Customer Service Representative (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: 100% Onsite — Ewing, NJ

Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour (W2)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team onsite in Princeton. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, delivering exceptional service, and working in a collaborative office environment. You’ll handle inbound inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support to ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product or service issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Process orders, returns, and adjustments with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Provide product/service information and guide customers through processes.
  • Uphold company standards for quality and compliance in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–2+ years in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Skills: Strong communication (verbal and written), active listening, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Tech: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite daily in Princeton, NJ.
