Position: Director, IT Programs

Location: Ewing, NJ (5 days onsite, standard hours; occasional travel to lab sites)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, IT Programs to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives, with a strong emphasis on ERP program leadership, reporting & analytics, and process optimization. This role will oversee the IT Program Management Office (PMO), ensure data accuracy for decision-making, and drive adoption of processes and training across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on ERP expertise, people management experience, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise technology programs that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee ERP initiatives, ensuring effective program execution and integration across business units.
• Provide leadership and direction to the IT PMO, driving governance, prioritization, and program oversight.
• Establish and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics strategies, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights for business decisions.
• Own business processes and training initiatives, driving adoption of new systems and ways of working.
• Manage and mentor IT program managers, analysts, and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and deliver enterprise solutions.
• (Preferred) Lead or support implementation/management of Human Capital Management Systems (HCMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
• Proven experience in ERP program leadership and delivery.
• Strong background in reporting, analytics, and data strategy.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including people management.
• Experience overseeing PMO governance and IT program portfolios.
• Knowledge of HCMS systems highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
