Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain motors, fixtures, wiring, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine controls, motors, lighting systems, and power circuitry.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair procedures.
- Adhere to all workplace safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
- Order and manage electrical materials, spare parts, and shop inventory.
- Conduct planned maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional departments to support continuous production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems (including 480
VAC and low‑voltage
) and mechanical equipment. - Ability to wire control panels, cabinets, and related components.
- Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools.
- Solid knowledge of workplace safety protocols, including the ability to conduct safety audits.
- PLC experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Education & Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Green Card Holder
. - Hourly Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 (based on experience)
