Building a great career never tasted so good! Eligible for up to a $250.00 retention bonus! We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Hourly Route Sales position, joining our team in the Hainesport, NJ area covering Ewing, NJ and Hamilton, NJ.

Location:

Hainesport, NJ

Compensation: $18.81 – $22.99 per hour

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday, approximately 45‑55 hours a week

Safely drives a step‑van delivery truck over any assigned route to sell, deliver, and merchandise products, while providing excellent customer service to a variety of grocery, mass merchandise, and independent chain stores.

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license in the current state of residence
• Excellent driving record—no more than 2 moving violations and no DUI in the past 3 years
• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a job‑related assessment with a score of 70% or better
• Passing a drug test (random testing program for all active employees)
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English
• Stable work history with good references
• Sound judgment and adaptability to changing work and driving conditions
• Strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage priorities effectively

• Constant reaching; frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, driving, and lifting up to 32 pounds
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 48 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 40 pounds

• Sell, deliver, stock, and merchandise Herr’s brand snack foods to grocery retail and independent chain stores
• Progressively increase current customer sales volume through relationship building, service, and in‑store product knowledge
• Solicit new accounts and maintain current customer base
• Execute company‑sponsored promotional programs, including setting up temporary displays and racks
• Rotate and provide credit for stale or damaged items to keep product fresh
• Process orders by entering product codes into handheld computers
• Collect cash from customers and accurately process associated invoices
• Maintain daily product inventory accuracy
• Conduct daily pre‑trip vehicle safety inspection and keep the truck clean
