Job Description- The Analytical Scientist will be involved in the design, planning, organization and evaluation of drug product and combination drug/device product development. They will perform analytical testing on products including, but not limited to, formulation, blister strips and inhalation devices.
- The position requires use and application of analytical chemistry principles, theories, and concepts. The Scientist will use established procedures and methodologies to develop solutions to solve scientific/technical problems of limited scope. Work is directly supervised.
- The Scientist will follow established procedures and methodologies and contributes to completion of routine scientific/technical tasks and has limited discretion to vary from established procedures. Ability to work both closely with other team members from various disciplines as well as the ability to work independently when needed.
- Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders and other professional staff to exchange and clarify information.
- Undergraduate/BSc degree in applicable discipline and 1-3 years of related experience. Experience with Waters Empower, UPLC and aerosol testing area a plus.
NOTES:
Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements:
1. Empower 2 experience
3. HPLC troubleshooting / problem-solving
4. Established ability to multi-task
5. Experience with MS Word and Excel to report results
Qualifications- Undergraduate/BSc degree in applicable discipline and 1-3 years of related experience. Experience with Waters Empower, UPLC and aerosol testing area a plus.
