You Will Have An Opportunity To Do
We are looking for someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and eager to grow their talents in the kitchen! Successful candidates will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to collaborate with culinary leadership to create menus that reflect seasonal availability and our restaurant concept.
The cook assists the culinary leadership team in the production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining.
Your Role- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry)
- Gain experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
- Read and recreate recipes
- Maintain consistency in all food preparation
- Learn how to minimize food waste through cross‑utilization
- Work with a world‑class culinary team
- Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat)
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Be responsible for the quality of ingredients
- 2‑3 years of previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Active Food Handler’s certification or the ability to obtain one
- Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Desire to exceed expectations
- Energetic personality
$16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
