The Elms Hotel & Spa is part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio, located in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. This property features 153 guest rooms and 11,000 sq ft of versatile meeting space. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Guest Services team as a Bell Attendant to support a warm, welcoming guest experience.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Guest Services team as a Bell Attendant. The ideal candidate uses an engaging personality to create a memorable first impression for our guests as they arrive for the first time and throughout their stay. In offering a warm welcome to our hotel/resort, the Bell Attendant assists with the unloading of guest luggage and provides knowledge about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area as they escort guests to their rooms.
You will also escort and orient guests to the front desk for check-in, and explain our amenities and fun facts during the process.
- Help guests discover their “Wanderlust” experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and showing sincere interest.
- Interact with all guests; welcome each guest to our hotel.
- Open doors for guests arriving by motor vehicle and greet them upon arrival.
- Escort guests to the front desk for check-in and to their rooms, explaining amenities and hotel information.
- Work with other attendants to ensure each guest has a personalized experience.
- Assist lobby attendant in keeping the entrance area clean and organized.
- Be the difference with all guests and employees by going beyond the norm.
- At least one year in a customer service role with high guest interaction.
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to solve problems when they arise.
- Ability to work in a team environment is a must.
- Pleasant and helpful personality.
- Must be able to work a full shift standing and moving to different areas of the hotel.
- Strong desire to make an impact on other people; outgoing and engaging personality.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
$15.00 per hour
