Pyramid Global Hospitality is a global hospitality portfolio with over 230 properties worldwide. We are seeking a Director of Engineering to maintain the entire hotel facility, including physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C. systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do:
To maintain the entire hotel facility, ensuring the upkeep of guest areas, manage all rehabilitation, expansion, and/or special projects.

• Conduct walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of buildings, all systems.
• Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance and repair, replacement, renovation projects in office and employee work areas.
• Hire, train, supervise and discipline department staff.
• Adhere to corporate purchasing policies and controls.
• Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs, conduct special training.
• Maintain fire standpipe, sprinkler systems and extinguishers; required to recharge pressurized extinguishers.
• Inform General Manager and department heads regularly regarding condition and proposals.
• Communicate with city officials regarding permits and licenses.
• Act as liaison between hotel and vendors, review latest technology and products.

• Assume responsibility of engineering position in absence of staff.
• Maintain appropriate supply of materials and equipment.
• Maintain organized administrative systems.
• Maintain inventory and storage of tools and equipment.
• Be immediately available for emergency responses.
• Perform other duties as requested related to special events and modifications.

Salary: $ – $75,000.00 (actual compensation varies by experience and location).
