This position requires a self‑directed, team‑oriented individual who takes pride and ownership in their work and is willing to accept total responsibility for plant equipment troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance programs. Maintenance Mechanics will be responsible for a broad variety of equipment and system types, and must possess solid mechanical, electrical and maintenance welding skills along with above‑average troubleshooting abilities.

Job Posting TitleCertified Maintenance Team Member
ScheduleMonday through Friday, the schedule transitions to a 2-2-3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days: then the opposite the next week) once fully trained.
Hours6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, hours transition to 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM once fully trained.

Wage$29.87‑$42.14 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential once transitioned to 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM shift.
Responsibilities- Stock and locate spare parts.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform equipment modifications and rebuilds.
- Perform routine maintenance welding and minor fabrication.
- Perform general building maintenance.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to manufacture safe, legal and quality product.
- Maintain clean work areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure compliance with all safety programs and maintain hazard‑free work areas.
- Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance (e.g., blowers, airlocks, press machinery, HVAC, packaging lines, and general plumbing).
- Adjust schedule to support a 2‑shift operation; overtime may be required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and across functions to support self‑directed work environment.
- Use sound judgment to protect personal safety and the safety of others.
Team Lead
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Good communication skills; able to understand training manuals and drawings.
- Strong math skills and sense of urgency.
- Solid mechanical aptitude combined with technical training or equivalent manufacturing experience (preferably in food manufacturing).
- Creative troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced understanding of electrical distribution, control circuits and PLC theory/programming.
- Advanced maintenance welding skills (stick, Tig, Mig, gas).
- Proficiency operating shop equipment (drill press, hydraulic press, milling machine, lathe, grinders, band saws).
- Physical requirements:
lift at least 50 lbs unassisted; periodically lift up to 100 lbs; climb, kneel, crawl and work at elevation; vocal communication; adequate distance and color vision.
