Responsibilities & What We Look For- Interest In:
Small-animal general practice in an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital providing comprehensive and compassionate care for dogs, cats, and select exotic/pocket pets. Clinical interests may include wellness exams, preventative care, surgical procedures, dentistry, diagnostic imaging (radiographs, ultrasound), urgent/acute care presentations, pain management, senior wellness, euthanasia support, and client education. - Culture of mentorship and collaboration, with a focus on delivering high-quality medicine while honoring time and attention required for effective mentorship.
- Collaborative team environment with support staff dedicated to high-quality patient care, efficient diagnostics, surgical and dental support, anesthesia monitoring, and strong client communication.
- General practice caseload focused on dogs and cats, with opportunities to support urgent/acute care and care for exotic and pocket pets depending on doctor interest.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- A valid state license in good standing to practice.
- A collaborative spirit and dedication to practicing the highest standard of medicine.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
