• Thoroughly and completely know and understand the contract, each subcontract, and the plans and specifications to assist the Project Manager in developing the on‑site procedures.
• Provide leadership to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with on‑site staff and to promote a positive project environment.
• Manage site logistics. Conduct pre‑construction meetings with new and existing subcontractors and superintendents prior to the start of each new phase of the work to discuss issues.
• Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality and/or inhibit the logical progress of work.
• Perform the regular paperwork duties, including keeping daily records (daily reports) of field activity, including manpower, deliverables, and other relevant information.
• Ensure job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and trade contractors; work with the safety support personnel as a resource.
• Establish the punch list process and close‑out procedures with the project team.
• Maintain the project "as‑built" drawings on a daily basis.
• Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as‑built drawings, and warranties.
