Program Assistant – Finance (60%)

Join Virtual Learning Academy Charter School’s Finance team. Hybrid role. 60% FTE (24 hrs/week).

Hybrid – 1 day per week required in office, Exeter, NH.

Business Administrator.

Immediately.

Support the Finance team. Strong communication, tech skills, and data entry experience required.

• Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions as required.
• Maintain and update shared documentation to ensure accurate and timely financial tracking.
• Generate financial reports upon request.
• Conduct necessary professional phone communications to support financial operations.
• Prepare and furnish essential financial documentation to the Business Administrator, CEO, Trustees, and external auditors.
• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by VLACS.

• Experience with Google Sheets, Excel & Word required.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills.
• Acute attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while communicating regularly and effectively within a larger team.

• Salary based on experience, starting at $22/hour.
• Paid Time Off prorated based on start date.
• Voluntary participation in 457 retirement plan optional.
• This position is part-time and therefore not eligible for other benefits.
