The CMM Programmer is responsible for performing inspections and supporting data analysis. The role documents and communicates results in a timely fashion to maintain uninterrupted movement within the manufacturing process. The individual will also work closely with Quality Assurance, CNC Programmers, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Production & Braze/Special Process to ensure that all inspections are thoroughly completed.

• Strives towards a culture of proactive safety.
• Create CMM programs with PC‑DMIS software (from Solid Works models, drawings & applicable documents).
• Create Absolute Arm programs.
• Document measurements required for First Article Inspections / AS9102.
• Conduct mechanical, visual & final inspections.
• Recommend new metrology‑based technologies toward improving our overall capabilities.
• Complete quality‑related and continuous‑improvement project work.
• Participate in investigations of root cause and corrective actions / implement preventative actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Level 1, 2 and/or 3 PC‑DMIS Certification – Preferred

• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT).
• Ability to interpret technical drawing and specifications toward programming.
• Spatial awareness of basic machining practices & CMM setups.
• Understanding of Statistical Process Controls / AS9103.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing – Preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
