Overview

The Quality Assistant II monitors daily production activities and inspects finished products to evaluate quality performance. They also supply quality control data and support quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Support quality activities as needed (possibly to include audits, inspections, site source inspections, shipping coordination, regulatory submissions, calibration, etc.); perform other duties as assigned.

  • Provide quality objective data and functional area metrics
  • Monitor daily production activities to ensure time and quality commitments are met
  • Provide support for electrical (IPC) and mechanical inspection using mechanical tools such as calipers, height gages, optical comparator, pin gages, etc. as needed
  • Assist with RMA processing (incoming/outgoing) documentation (Developing), including RMA travelers, packing slip and/or inspection
  • Work closely with Quality Engineering, Inspectors and other departments to resolve concerns
  • Review work and documentation to ensure quality compliance
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in area of responsibility.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Information
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $20.00- $24.50 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
