Salary: $48,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am – 4:45 pm

This temporary position may lead to regular full‑time employment. The instructor will provide students with industry‑recognized Medical Assistant instruction, including vital signs, examination assistance, EKG, phlebotomy, electronic health record updates, and more. These skills will lead to student job placement, higher education, or advanced training.

• Provide training leading to Career Technical Training completion and industry‑recognizable certifications.
• Offer comprehensive and individualized case management to ensure student progress, achievement, and completion of the Job Corps program.
• Deliver quality Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) training that leads to student job placement.
• Provide students with job leads and monitor placement of all graduates with the help of the Career Transition Counselors.
• Ensure the classroom is well‑organized and conducive to student learning.
• Hold students accountable for following the Center’s uniform dress code and behavioral standards of conduct.
• Produce quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
• Understand and apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid RI Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Experience instructing and/or working with youth groups strongly preferred.
