Your Role:
More Than a Job—It’s a Mission! As a Residential Advisor, you’ll be the heartbeat of our dorm community. You’ll mentor, motivate, and guide young adults (ages 16‑24) as they build brighter futures through education and career training.

• Creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive living space
• Leading by example—setting the tone for responsibility and growth
• Coaching students through life skills, conflict resolution, and personal development
• Keeping things running smoothly with dorm checks, reports, and teamwork
• Being the trusted adult students turn to for support and encouragement
• Hosting dorm activities/groups and assisting in recreational activities on and off campus
• Fostering positive peer relationships and modeling leadership techniques
• Assisting in student retention by providing an interactive, comfortable living environment conducive to achieving program goals
• Providing proactive conflict resolution and counseling in behavior, training, personal hygiene, and study habits
• Conducting accountability for any minor students during hourly roll call throughout the shift

• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required; A.S. or B.A. preferred for promotional opportunities
• Minimum of one year working with youths preferred
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, push, pull, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch
