A successful accountancy practice based in Exeter has a requirement for a Client Portfolio Manager to join them managing relationships and a client portfolio of wide ranging industry clients across OMBs & SMEs, ensuring a quality service across the review of year‑end accounts, tax and wider services, advising clients and developing business, managing teams & working closely with the Partners as key support, with a clear progression path on offer.

The firm's partners are looking for a key right hand support who can lead on the management and delivery of accounting/tax and wider services, adding value to clients on advisory and planning projects. Joining this firm as Client Portfolio Manager, you will bring your background as an all‑rounder year‑end accounts, tax & general accountancy practice professional to service wide‑ranging limited company OMBs and SMEs with a hands‑on approach. You will manage the full delivery and build client relationships, oversee compliance and delivery, work with your team in a review, mentoring and training capacity, and lead on delivering added value, advisory and planning work to clients.

You will carve a career within this firm as key support to the firm's partners, with a clear progression path for those with interest and ambition for Director/Partner level progression.

For this Client Portfolio Manager role you will hold any of the AAT, ACA, ACCA or CTA qualifications and have a career background developed within accountancy practice to managerial levels. You will have an all‑around accounts/tax career background gained within small, medium/larger independent or Top 50, Top Tier accountancy firm environments as a general accountancy practice professional and you will be seeking a move with a career progression path on offer.
