Bookkeeper Topsham, Exeter £28,000 - £32,000 (DOE) Full-time
We're working with a well-established, global brand based near Topsham who are looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper into their wider team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role within a preforming business.
The role: You'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with the business owners to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing payroll
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting with monthly management information
- Liaising with external accountants and internal stakeholders
About you:
- Previous bookkeeping experience (ideally to trial balance)
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- Confident using accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Comfortable working independently in a busy environment
