Management Accountant

Distinct are working with a large, multi-entity finance function who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to take ownership of accounting across a complex, international business structure.

This is a hands-on controllership role. You'll be responsible for month-end close, journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis, all delivered to tight reporting deadlines.

The team operates at scale with a genuine focus on process improvement and automation. You'll be expected to identify inefficiencies and work collaboratively to fix them

Salary & Benefits:

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE. Excellent benefits package. Hybrid working available with a flexible approach from the employer. 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more Matched pension contribution up to 10%

Role Overview :
Month-end accounting and journal preparation across multiple entities. Balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of any issues arising. Liaison with internal and external auditors. Stakeholder reporting and engagement with senior finance and operational leads. Contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives. Process Improvement and Automation Prepare journal entities About You/Job Requirements Qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Strong Excel and systems skills.
