AUDIT & ACCOUNTS SENIOR

Location: Devon flexible across multiple offices
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join an established and highly regarded accountancy practice.

The role offers a varied portfolio of clients, including small and medium-sized companies and charities
, with the opportunity to build strong, long-term client relationships.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing statutory financial statements for limited companies and charities
• Leading and completing audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Preparing corporation tax returns
• Managing your own workload and deadlines
• Dealing with client queries and providing a proactive service
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
• Coaching and supporting junior staff
• Contributing to wider team and internal initiatives
• Getting involved in networking and business development activities

The successful candidate will ideally be:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experienced in completing audits within an accountancy practice
• Confident preparing accounts and corporation tax returns
• A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Confident reviewing work and mentoring junior colleagues

Experience with
cash flow forecasts and business plans would be advantageous but is not essential.
