Job Title: Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager
Location: Exeter (Hybrid)

Overview:
We are working with a highly reputable and long-established accountancy practice in the South West that is looking to appoint a Senior Agricultural Accounts Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a specialist team, managing a diverse portfolio of rural and agricultural clients while playing a key role in the firm s continued growth.

The Role:

• Managing a portfolio of agricultural and rural clients, providing a full range of accounting and advisory services
• Reviewing and preparing year-end accounts, as well as associated tax returns
• Overseeing VAT return preparation and ensuring compliance
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, handling day-to-day queries and providing strategic advice
• Supporting business development activities and promoting additional services
• Managing workflows, deadlines, and billing across the portfolio
• Working closely with senior leadership on client matters and projects
• Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong background within an accountancy practice
• Proven experience working with agricultural or rural clients, including relevant tax knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage client portfolios effectively
• Commercial awareness and an interest in business development
• Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and support a team
