105), sole traders and partnerships, from source records through to completion Complete quarterly loan interest calculations, and prepare and submit VAT returns Handle Companies House filings and related statutory work Trust accounts exposure is a bonus, not a requirement — full training given Client Relationships Respond directly to client queries and build long-term relationships with a loyal, largely HNW client base Attend client meetings (occasionally taking minutes) and travel to clients across the North West, North Wales, Shropshire and Derbyshire Supporting the Team Assist the directors with ad hoc work, such as preparing documentation for client finance applications Prepare cashflows and budgets, and contribute to the firm's AML checks on new and existing clients Practice Accountant (QBE) – Requirements Several years' hands-on general practice experience, ideally gained in a small or independent firm Comfortable preparing accounts from start to finish, not just reviewing software-generated output Working knowledge of VAT returns and general compliance;
