Water meadow Grange in Topsham, Exeter is a beautiful care home providing 86 spacious ensuite bedrooms including a community dedicated to the care of people living with dementia.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Administrator with competent finance skills to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide administrative and accounting/credit control support to the home and direct manage the Admin Assistants/Receptionists.
• Ensure all client files and accounts are prepared, issued, updated and maintained in line with company policy and regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Promote timely payment of client accounts and proactively follow up outstanding debt in line with the credit control policy.
• Maintain knowledge of accounts systems, liaise with the Payroll Department, prepare reports and process staff information; verify, input and reconcile staff hours worked.
• Prepare detailed staffing and payroll reports for the General Manager and support staff.
• Maintain staff records in the staff hours' system; recruit staff, create new employee files, maintain staff files and record staff sickness, holidays, leavers.
• Maintain excellent IT skills, knowledge of Excel and confident use of internal IT systems and processes.
