Operations Assistant

We're looking for an Operations Administrator to join our team and become a central point of coordination across multiple departments. This is a role where no two days are quite the same, offering the opportunity to work closely with customers, drivers, suppliers and internal teams to help deliver an exceptional service.

📋 The Role

As part of a busy operations function, you'll be responsible for coordinating information, managing documentation, and ensuring key processes are completed accurately and on time.

You'll play an important role in helping the wider business deliver against customer expectations, supporting operational activities from initial planning through to successful completion.

📋 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Monitoring operational workflows and ensuring key milestones are met
Acting as a central point of contact for drivers, customers and internal stakeholders
Preparing and processing documentation to support vehicle movements and deliveries
Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems and platforms
Managing customer and supplier communications, providing timely updates when required
Supporting scheduling and coordination activities across operational teams
Investigating and resolving administration queries efficiently
Producing reports and updating internal trackers
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and quality standards
Working collaboratively across departments to support business objectives

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently juggle multiple tasks without compromising accuracy.

You'll likely have:

Previous experience in an administration, coordination or operations support role
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Confidence using business systems and Microsoft Office packages
The ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing demands
A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks
A positive, team-focused attitude

Experience with in automotive, logistics, fleet, transport or supply chain environments would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong administration and coordination skills from other sectors.
