Project Administrator

This part‑time (0.6 FTE) fixed‑term contract is funded by Wellcome Trust until 01 Feb 2028. It offers hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home – and is open to candidates interested in part‑time hours or job‑sharing arrangements.

Salary: £30,628 per annum pro‑rata on Grade D, subject to knowledge, skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline administrative support to participants and academics for the Calming Minds Project.
  • Respond to, manage and follow up on a diverse range of queries from internal and external stakeholders in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Assist potential participants with troubleshooting enrolment issues across multiple enquiry channels, including live chat and phone lines.
  • Ensure project delivery to deadlines by maintaining high‑quality administrative support and timely communication.
Qualifications
  • Proactive individual with strong customer‑service instincts and a demonstrated ability to provide a positive, supportive customer experience.
  • Experience handling enquiries across a variety of channels and dealing with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Effective communicator with excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to provide clear and accurate information.
  • Willingness to undergo training for software systems and develop knowledge of the programme and university.
