Project Administrator About the Role
This part‑time (0.6 FTE) post is a fixed‑term contract funded by the Wellcome Trust until 01 Feb 2028. The role is part of the Calming Minds Project, a flagship Wellcome Trust project led by Professor Ed Watkins. It offers flexible, hybrid working, with some time on campus and some from home, and welcomes part‑time or job‑sharing arrangements.
Responsibilities- Provide frontline administrative support to project participants and academics.
- Respond to, manage and follow up on a diverse range of queries from internal and external stakeholders in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Support participants through troubleshooting and enrollment on the online project platform.
- Maintain records, schedule meetings and coordinate communications to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Proactive, customer‑focused individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience handling enquiries across multiple channels (live chat, phone, email).
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and with varying IT literacy levels.
- Salary is £30,628 per annum pro‑rated on Grade D, subject to knowledge, skills and experience.
- Role requires a DBS check; the University of Exeter is committed to safeguarding.
