Role SummaryThis role is fast paced, working in a busy team within Trauma & Orthopaedics. You will be working as part of a team working on reception, answering telephones and dealing with patient appointments. The main duties of this role include:
- Meeting and greeting patients at reception
- Answering telephones and dealing with appointment requests/queries
- Booking patient appointments from waiting lists, ensuring appointments are booked accurately on the system

We are looking for someone to provide an efficient, professional administrative and clerical service to the Trauma & Orthopaedics Department within the Surgical Services Division. You will form an essential part of an extremely busy team ensuring patient appointments are booked accurately and information is updated regularly, in a timely manner. You will also need to provide effective communication to both patients and staff in order to ensure the smooth running of the service which enhances patient care.
The role is both office-based and patient facing therefore you will need to be flexible and adapt to the different environments.
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday Friday
