Vehicle Technician

Our client, a well-established and expanding dealership in Exeter, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
OTE in the region of £43,000
Monday to Friday working hours, 08:00 am to 17:30 pm
Paid Saturday mornings on a 1 in 4 rota basis
Opportunity to work predominantly on vans, with a variety of vehicle types

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vans and other vehicles to high standards
Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment to test, trace, and repair vehicle issues
Carrying out MOTs (Class 4 and
7) – advantageous but not essential
Working efficiently both independently and within a team setting
Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
Maintaining and utilising personal tools to carry out repairs

Requirements:

Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
Full UK driving licence
Confident in vehicle repair, servicing, and maintenance

Experience with diagnostic tools and electronic equipment
Willingness to work on a range of vehicle brands, primarily vans
Own tools required
Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
