Vehicle Technician | Privately Owned Franchised Dealer – No Weekends

An independent, family‑run, main dealership is seeking an experienced VEHICLE TECHNICIAN – qualified candidates at all levels are welcome to apply. The business has a long history in Exeter and offers a supportive environment where Technicians are valued and encouraged to develop their careers.

The dealership is happy to consider newly qualified technicians, experienced technicians, and MOT testers.

• £30,000 – £40,000 per year, depending on experience

• Servicing and repairing customer vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out vehicle health checks
• Supporting MOT testing (MOT licence beneficial, training available)

Technicians will work across a wide range of vehicles, including cars, 4x4s, pick‑ups, and electric vehicles.

• Workshop experience and relevant training
• Vehicle technician qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum)
• MOT licence beneficial (training to attain can be provided)
• Full UK driving licence
• Positive and proactive team attitude

The dealership actively supports ongoing training and progression, including MOT qualification, manufacturer‑approved training, and advanced technical development.
