The Opportunity:
Are you an experience EHS Manager looking to take ownership of the Health, Safety and Environmental compliance within a busy manufacturing facility in beautiful Devon? The company are a long-standing, globally recognised manufacturer with an excellent reputation in their industry. Following continued business growth and site development plans, they are now looking to bring an experienced and proactive HSE professional into their team.
Within the role, you will oversee site-wide EHS processes, drive compliance with UK legislation, and support the ongoing development of safe, effective and environmentally responsible working practices.
The Role:
- Managing existing and developing improved site Environment, Health and Safety systems, processes and procedures within an expanding manufacturing facility who use various chemicals within their production processes.
- To provide professional support, information, continuous improvement and practical advice in all EHS matters.
- Effectively working with managers and supervisors in order to ensure that our EH&S systems, arrangements and practices are applied effectively, especially focusing on risk assessment support.
