A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a leading residential house builder delivering high-quality housing developments across the South West.

This is a key commercial role where you'll take ownership of the estimating process, supporting land acquisition, pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure projects are commercially viable and competitively priced.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential developments.
• Producing cost plans and viability assessments.
• Supporting land appraisals and acquisition decisions.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information.
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Managing tender processes and negotiating costs.
• Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Working closely with technical, commercial and land teams.

• Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within house building.
• Strong understanding of residential construction costs.
• Experience preparing detailed cost plans and tenders.
• Good knowledge of subcontractor procurement and pricing.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Organised, proactive and detail focused.
