Building Services Manager

Building Services Manager – Exeter. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Services Manager to join a major construction project in the heart of Exeter. Bekk R solutions are working alongside a national tier 1 main contractor looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to oversee an initial 1000 bed, £240M (£45m M&E) scheme in Exeter. This is a large-scale student accommodation development valued at approximately £270m, with a programme duration of around three years.

The scheme includes six new-build accommodation blocks alongside the refurbishment of an existing building.

The successful candidate will take the lead on all MEP packages across the project, overseeing delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities ,

* Lead and manage all MEP works across the full project scope

* Oversee refurbishment works within the existing accommodation block

* Manage MEP delivery across six new-build blocks

* Coordinate interfaces with all trades and subcontractors

* Oversee incoming services coordination and substation construction

* Liaise with the University and external stakeholders where required

What you’ll need to succeed,

* Strong MEP knowledge and technical experience

* Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects

* Experience managing large teams and multiple subcontract packages

* Good understanding of structures and construction interfaces

* Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
