Surveyor & Registered Valuer

Clyst Core Ltd is a forward-thinking, RICS-regulated chartered surveying practice based in Exeter, covering the South West region. We offer Home Surveys (Levels 1–3), residential valuations, reinstatement cost assessments, cost management, dispute resolution and expert witness services.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join our team.

We’re open to background, whether you come from a building surveying or residential surveying pathway, what matters most is your attitude, your commitment to quality, and your passion for the profession.

Day-to-day, you’ll be delivering:

• RICS Level 1 and Level 2 Home Surveys (with Level 3 an option for the right candidate)
• RICS Red Book–compliant residential valuations (market, probate, Help to Buy, matrimonial, etc.)
• Reinstatement Cost Assessments for insurance purposes
• Clear, well-structured reports with excellent client communication throughout

You’ll have autonomy over your diary, a flexible working pattern that suits your life, and direct support from an experienced director to develop your skills and confidence.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are a RICS Registered Valuer (VRS) or working towards registration
• Hold Assoc
  
  RICS, are newly qualified MRICS, or are working towards your APC
• Come from a building surveying or residential surveying background
• Have experience (or a strong interest) in Level 1 and/or Level 2 home surveys
• Write clear, well-structured reports and communicate confidently with clients
• Are self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload
• Hold a full UK driving licence

We’re small, independent and RICS-regulated, which means quality over quantity, and proper professional standards in everything we do. You won’t be processing surveys on a conveyor belt here.
