Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting experienced Passenger/Goods Hoist Operatives to join a large-scale commercial construction project in Exeter.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile development, with the potential for continued employment beyond the initial phase of the project.

Key Duties

Operate passenger and goods hoists safely and efficiently.

Transport site personnel, equipment, and materials across multiple levels.

Carry out daily pre-use inspections and routine safety checks.

Report any faults or defects promptly.

Communicate effectively with banksmen, supervisors, and site teams.

Maintain high standards of site safety and compliance at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience operating passenger/goods hoists on construction sites.

Valid CPCS or NPORS Hoist Operator card.

Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.

Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

What We Offer

£18 - £20 per hour.

12-month contract.

Consistent working hours, Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm.

PPE and required tools provided on site.

Opportunity to work on a major commercial construction project.
