Our consultancy is part of a large nationwide group providing multidisciplinary property services across the country, working on projects ranging from small maintenance schemes to complex projects up to £1M. With a collaborative and supportive culture, we offer a flexible approach to work, strong training opportunities, and the chance to progress through to Senior and leadership roles.
In this role, you'll gain hands‑on experience across the full project lifecycle – from feasibility and design through to contract administration and delivery. You'll work alongside experienced surveyors, developing your technical skills while working toward chartership with structured APC support and mentorship.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline, with a couple of years’ experience. A proactive, self‑motivated attitude and a desire to learn are key. A full UK driver’s licence will be required. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a business that invests in its people and provides a clear route to Chartered and Senior Surveyor level.
The Role- Assist in the delivery of maintenance and project works up to £1M in value
- Prepare specifications, tenders, and project documentation
- Undertake feasibility studies, estimates, and site inspections
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
- Have the opportunity to work towards RICS chartership with full training and support
- Hybrid working – office, home, and site‑based across Devon & Somerset
- Degree in Building Surveying or similar discipline
- Experience with in building surveying or project delivery
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building compliance
- Proactive, team‑focused, and eager to progress professionally
- Full UK driving licence
Salary advertised: £30,000 - £36,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
