Exeter | £40-£42 per hour (CIS) | Full-Time | Temporary | Minimum 3-Month Contract | Commercial Project
Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Freelance Setting Out Engineer to join a busy commercial construction project in Exeter.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a live site with a well-established contractor and a strong pipeline of ongoing projects. The role is expected to run for a minimum of three months, with potential for extension.
What We Offer
£40-£42 per hour (CIS).
Full-time temporary contract.
Minimum three-month contract.
Potential for extension.
Opportunity to work on a high-profile commercial construction project.
Work with a well-established contractor.
Key Duties
Carry out setting out for groundworks, foundations and structural elements.
Interpret drawings and site plans accurately.
Conduct surveys and checks to ensure works are delivered to specification.
Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
Maintain QA records and as-built information.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of site surveying and construction methods.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Valid CSCS card.
Own setting out kit/equipment, including total station, GPS, etc.
Immediate availability preferred.
