Site Manager
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a major water treatment scheme, overseeing construction activities including treatment works, shafts, pipelines, civils and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day site activities and site teams.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
- Oversee construction activities including shaft works, excavations, concrete structures, pipelines and treatment facilities.
- Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are followed.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.
- Previous Site Management experience on water, wastewater, utilities or major civil engineering projects.
- SMSTS and relevant CSCS card.
- Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and CDM.
- Experience managing subcontractors and complex construction activities.
- Experience with shaft construction or underground works is highly desirable.
- Good communication, leadership and organisational skills
