A new contract assignment is available for a Site Supervisor (Civil/Mechanical ) to support a major Solar energy construction project. This role is ideal for professionals with strong civil/mechanical engineering expertise and practical on site experience within large scale infrastructure or energy projects.

• Civil Engineering qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant site experience, including:
  Knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety
• Experience in general civil construction, reinforcement detailing, and checking
• Renewable energy project experience preferred (substations, cable installation, inverter/PV installation, civil BoP works)
• SMSTS or NEC4 Supervision accreditation (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving license

• Construction Supervision
• Monitor site progress against programme and prepare review reports
• Assess work quality, including pre/post‑concrete inspections
• Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved RAMS
• Review contractor documentation such as RAMS, TMP and CMP
• Project Support
• Contribute to monthly progress meetings and reporting
• Maintain trackers for construction activities and deliveries
• Assist the Project Manager with EPC/ICP contract obligations
• Support in assessing milestone applications
• Health, Safety & Quality
• Conduct H&S audits/observations
• Report and log NCRs
• Perform snagging and coordinate close out with contractors
• Commissioning & Interfaces
• Monitor mechanical and civil commissioning activities
• Support Project Manager with third party interfaces
• Assist in applications for Provisional Acceptance Certificates
• Environmental & Compliance
• Ongoing review of planning conditions and consents
• Liaise with Environmental Clerk of Works as required
