Technical Coordinator

RGB Recruitment seeks a Technical Coordinator in Exeter for a reputable South West house builder providing quality homes in desirable locations.

This full-time, office-based post, with regular site travel, carries a salary of £35,000 to £55,000 per annum plus full package and benefits.

Supporting the technical manager, the successful candidate will assist with residential schemes, gradually taking responsibility for running their own sites as developments progress.

A proven background supporting or managing residential projects is essential, alongside strong coordination, communication and organisational skills.

The position offers genuine progression within a growing department, with scope to develop further as the company pursues its ambitious expansion plans across the region.

A new vacancy has arisen for a driven and motivated Technical Coordinator in Exeter! Working for a well-known and reputable business who provide quality homes in the South West, building homes within the community in desirable locations.

Working in an experienced and dynamic team you will work along side the a technical manager.

A proven background supporting or managing residential schemes is essential.

The role is largely office based with regular travel to site.

To compliment their existing team with an additional coordinator, to support technical managers and also work towards running their own sites depending on what stage the development is at.

The company have ambitious yet achievable growth plans and would like to bring in the additional staff to future proof the department and hopefully train up the next generation of technical managers over the coming years.

You will work closely with experienced Technical Managers on 1
-2 sites located in the local areas.

As the technical coordinator will be involved in projects from design stage through to post completion.

You will assist with managing engineering and working drawing packages with the aim of building homes to a high standard whilst obtaining all necessary technical approvals.

You will support the TM with projects to ensure deadlines are met.

• Proven experience working in a similar role (technical coordinator, design coordinator or relevant)
• Experienced within the house building sector
• Good technical knowledge
• Good understanding of the planning process
• Good knowledge of section agreements including 104 & 38
• Confident in supporting on large sites
• Organised
• Commercially aware
• Strong communicator
• Excellent IT skills
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Driven and self motivated
• Happy to consider both experienced Coordinators and assistant tc’s looking to step up.
