Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:30, on site - with flexible hours available

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Exeter Rugby Club is looking for an experienced graphic designer to join our team.

A leading role within the club's marketing team, you will provide internal design support across the entire business, owning our graphic content to support communications and events for the Chiefs, and its commercial partners and other owned brands.

As a proven and experienced graphic designer, ideally from a sport, media or entertainment background, you will work with a range of media including photography and animation using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office applications.

Using innovative and creative thinking, you will take written or spoken ideas from conception through to execution and delivery. You will manage projects through our internal software and liaise with printers, freelancers, and all internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.

Person specification

The job holder must:

  • You have a minimum three years’ experience within a similar industry or can demonstrate why this doesn’t matter (a degree in graphic design or a related area is desirable but not essential)
  • You have advanced knowledge of design trends
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have the ability to inspire customer trust and confidence
  • You are passionate about social media and design
  • You have the ability to multi-task, think fast and deliver solutions to customer requirements
  • You have a relentless focus on and obsession with delivering exceptional design support
  • You thrive in and promote a culture of hard work, discipline, honesty, and humility to deliver results
  • You manage projects, activities, and resources effectively, assuming personal ownership and accountability for results
  • You are a team player, confident working with clients and external agencies
