Customer Service Executive

Chelmsford, Essex Salary:
Up to £28,000  Bonus Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Monday to Friday (No weekends) Requirement:

The Role An established retailer specialising in storage solutions is seeking an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their team near Chelmsford. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience handling customer enquiries and complaints across a range of products. You will be responsible for managing customer interactions from initial enquiry through to resolution, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities Provide customer support via phone, email, and live chat Handle a high volume of customer complaints, taking ownership through to resolution Manage challenging conversations professionally and empathetically Process orders and customer enquiries accurately Resolve delivery issues, including delays, damages, and courier-related queries Advise customers across a varied product range Complete general administrative tasks Requirements Previous customer service experience within an online retail environment Proven experience handling customer complaints and difficult conversations Ability to manage high volumes of calls and maintain professionalism under pressure Experience dealing with couriers, damages, and delivery delays Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Good attention to detail and organisational skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Must drive due to location Working Hours Monday: 7:30am–5:00pm or 8:00am–5:30pm Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm or 8:30am–5:30pm Friday: 8:00am–4:30pm No weekends Apply Now If you have strong customer service experience within products NOT services, particularly in handling complaints, and are looking to join a supportive and growing business, we would like to hear from you.
