Locum – Limited Company Accepted Pay Rate: £75 – £95 per hour (DOE) About the Role We are seeking experienced General Practitioners (GPs) to join our streaming service within Southport’s urgent care setting. This role is designed to stream patients effectively upon arrival , ensuring they are directed to the most appropriate clinical pathway, reducing pressure on emergency departments and improving patient flow.

Key Responsibilities Initial assessment and triage of patients presenting to the urgent care or A&E department. Identify patients suitable for primary care management versus those requiring emergency intervention. Provide safe, efficient streaming decisions in line with clinical governance and local protocols. Work collaboratively with ED clinicians, nurses, and urgent care teams. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care.

Requirements GMC-registered GP with valid license to practice. Previous experience in urgent care, A&E streaming, or triage highly desirable. Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Benefits Competitive hourly rates (£75–£95 per hour). Flexible scheduling across 7 days. Limited company payment option available.
